Engineer-turned Product Designer 💻 + Boba over coffee 🧋+ Anti-small talk club + Systems over static + Paperback 📚 > perfume + Guac is a love language 🥑 + Sucker for slow burns

Product designer with 3+ years of experience across B2B SaaS, internal tools, and consumer platforms. I’ve designed AI-assisted complex workflows at Milliman, web search at Expedia, & built out 0→1 designs for a mobile-facing shipping startup. Each product lived in dense, high-context environments, which meant the real challenge was turning fragmented workflows and edge cases into trustworthy experiences.
Hello! I'm Tanishka.

I care about designing tools that help people make quick, confident decisions, especially when there’s a lot going on. I’m drawn to complexity, edge cases, and the moments where people hesitate or second-guess. Clarity is my north star.
I’ve always been the person in the room asking “why” a little too often, not to be difficult, but to really get at what’s useful and what’s noise. I tend to start with systems and interaction flows, thinking through how everything connects. But I care about the visual side too, making sure what we ship feels clear, cohesive, and not like an afterthought.
I started in computer science, so I tend to think in flows, dependencies, and real-world constraints. A few years in, I realized I wanted to focus on how people actually use what we build, and that led me to pursue a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction at UT Austin. That’s where I deepened my skills in user research, prototyping, visual design, and the subtle work of reducing cognitive load.
At the end of the day, I design for how things feel in use, not just how they look in Figma. I value feedback loops, quiet consistency, and collaboration that makes the product better.
How I Think & Work

Curiosity × Intentionality
I question early and often, to design with direction, not just assumptions.
Startup Agility × Enterprise Rigor
I've learned to shift gears, building fast, going deep, and scaling smart.

Big Picture Thinking × Pixel-Level Craft
I stay zoomed out enough to lead the vision, but close enough to finesse the details.
